Period of appointment: The appointment is from 19^th March to 20^thJune 2026 (Purely on a temporary / contractual basis).

The selected candidate may be paid a consolidated pay of Rs. 65,000/- per month or as per the institute rule. No other emoluments, medical reimbursement, allowances are applicable. No pension/gratuity etc. is applicable. Free hotel/hostel accommodation on a shared basis will be provided, if required.

How to apply:

1. Interested candidates need to fill in the required data in the attached application form. The duly filled application form must be submitted in soft copy (PDF only) along with the scanned copies of original documents mentioned in the application form, published paper (if any), etc. for verification. The interview will be called after scrutiny of the application forms. The mode of interview (online/offline) with any additional details (written test, presentation, etc.) will be communicated, thereafter.
2. An incomplete form shall not be considered for shortlisting, and the criteria for shortlisting shall be as per the institute's requirements and norms.
3. The duly filled application form should be sent to email id: hod.me.office@nitm.ac.in. The subject of the email should be “Application for Guest Faculty in Mechanical Engineering – February 2026”. The last date to submit the application form via email is 13^th March, 2026 (11.59 pm).
4. The interview will be held tentatively on 18^th March, 2026 from 10:30 am in physical mode. However, it may be subjected to change.
5. Candidates must write the correct and valid email id in their application forms as all the correspondence will be through this email id only.
6. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
7. The authority reserves the right of accepting/rejecting any or all the applications without assigning any reason thereof.
8. The position is temporary.
9. Candidate must be ready to join on 19^th March, 2026, if selected.
